Remote area sampling is sampling in locations that a typical vehicle (e.g. truck) cannot access or efficiently/timely access due to difficult terrain or when resources are not available for such sampling. EnviroStat uses a side-by-side (UTV) for access.

 

Media that may be sampled in remote areas includes surface water, surface soil and vegetation. The sampling effort may be part of a background study, ongoing monitoring, characterization or permit compliance. Often this sampling is time critical.
